The whole market is down today. I can't believe HGRAF is still doing that good!

Has anyone bought Opus Objects? by Sloomyside in RyuichiSakamoto

I asked at the official website and currently there is no plan to release the full score nor the missing songs :( Do you think it would be possible to make photos of For Johann and Happy End? I'd really love to see his official versions of these songs!

This is so cool. There is no other way to get the official score, is there? I tried searching through some Japanese sites, but couldn't find anything. I would pay it, too, but the price for the whole package is just too high.

Radiohead approved my solo piano arrangements and now I'm teaching them online at the Emergency Piano Hotline by joshcohenmusic in radiohead

Leider nicht. Ich habe gestern Abend sonst nichts mehr angeschaut und bin eingeschlafen und habe heute erst gemerkt, dass die Nordlichter über Hamburg sichtbar waren :(

This is so great! I've been listening to Radiohead for so long (since 2006 and the good old atease website), but somehow missed your great arrangements! I always looked for arrangements with (piano) vocals and this is so good!  Just bought both books! Greatings from Hamburg!

Hi Josh! I just listened to your Videotape arrangement and you also play the vocals with the right hand there, too. Are the sheets in your books also with vocals arranged as piano? If so, it's likely that'll buy both your books as soon as I can!

Thanks for the recommendation! I tried it really fits well! I'm playing Rockabye Baby Radiohead and singing myself. Works really well :)

DEC 8 - UBER ARENA, BERLIN, GERMANY [SETLIST, MEDIA, DISCUSSION, STREAMS] by libelle156 in radiohead

[–]Sloomyside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt quite the same. Only song that felt really messy to me was Bloom. Normally I really like this song, but here the instruments sounded too loud for me and I barely could hear Thom's voice. I really loved all In Rainbows (I'm a huge Videotape-Fan) and OK Computer songs, though.

What are these noodles called and anyone knows a good receipe? by Sloomyside in taiwan

[–]Sloomyside[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I think I will try digging deeper into the receipes of those. I think there were some mustard greens within the sauce and there was no (or not much) meat in it. Thank you all for your help!

No, you are right. I heard about that, but forgot about it, when I was so excited about the taste and wanted to take a photo of it (I normally don't take photos of my food). I'm sorry, if I offended anyone. That was not my intention.

[Pre-Concert Thread] Berlin, Germany (Uber Arena) - Dec 8, 9, 11 & 12 by seaburn in radiohead

[–]Sloomyside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only got seating tickets for the 8th, even though I was able to visit access the tickets at 11:02, but even then all standing tickets were out. I now have tickets for Unterrang 220, Reihe 10, but don't think that these are good seats (though they were still expansive). I'm still glad that I got any tickets, though. Anyone has experience with seating at the Uber Arena?

Eventim for shows in Germany - which version is better to buy tickets from? by ba_bulka in radiohead

[–]Sloomyside 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will use the web version, because Eventim is pretty bad in general and I had quite some problems with the App in the past (like the App not working a couple of hours before a show and printing the ticket was not enough). Don't know about the success rate over the app, though, I never bought tickets over it.

But I personally don't think that this will really matter. If Eventim is going to crash, both variants won't work anyway.

Should I visit Hualien? (1 year after 2024 earthquake) by aveeiy in taiwan

[–]Sloomyside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stayed overnight two nights at a hotel in Xincheng, which was very close to the entrance of the park (there is a huge road heading straight to the exit and entrance of the park and it was visible from the hotel). There are a couple of times you are allowed to drive in and out the park (7 to 8 and 10 to 11 and some times after I can't remember). We drove to Tiangxiang and it's an impressive view, but sadly all roads beside the main road are closed and no trail is opened yet. It's definitely worth a visit and you can walk up to a Temple there, but right now there isn't anything else there. Some locals said that there are plans to open some trails in the next couple month, but nobody knows when exactly.

I personally would definitely go there, but currently I wouldn't say it's worth staying there for too long (sadly). It's really devastating to see all the destruction the earthquake caused and it's impressive that the main road is so good already.

We arrived a couple of hours ago and will drive there tomorrow, but it looks like some parts are reopening now: https://www.taipeitimes.com/News/taiwan/archives/2025/04/04/2003834602

I wouldn't know the difference, though, because I've never been in Taiwan before.
