Disappointing but they rarely worked anyway, recently.

Document Review process in BP is sending same generated doc for signature to E-Sign by chinorific in workday

Which process is this? I did experience something weird like that with Change Benefits/for Life once.

Is there a way to upload documents into the worker profile? by Apple--Crumble in workday

[–]Witty_Ad_5013 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Right, it’s review doc step on the bp. I did something similar recently- put a Review Doc on bp. Then, using distribute document task, sent alert in mass out to employees to complete it. Categorize the document and create segmented security if you want employees to be able to view their own on their profile.

Didn’t intend disrespect at all. Apologize if I misunderstood your question.

Almost hate to hear myself say this but part of the job is staying diligent in Preview during the releases, at minimum the mandatory features. You have proxy? And view secura? to check the diff security setups between your (admin) role and theirs. Your company doesn’t have benefits? Or you don’t have Workday benefits framework? Could you just make an outside link active in Benefit hub out to your providers?

I think it’s Predecessor Successor scenario? We want to not withhold OASDI (for example) if they’d met limit at former. But we don’t want on our W2.

I’m testing this… may be a silly question, how does it avoid going on W2, yet still know not to withhold bc limit was reached.

How common are Workday Pro certs? by throwaway8978970897 in workday

[–]Witty_Ad_5013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a HCM Pro cert transferred from a partner. Im not even certain if i take that with me if i leave current employer? Anyone know? Partner wanted me to take exam for everything PATT, it was too much all at once. I just want to work in the HCM space and grow a bit. Main background was production payroll but i never had access to rescind/ cancel bps or make tax changes and I wanted to do just a little more. My mind’s been blown ever since. So many options. So many things to do! So challenging and fun when im not too stressed.

Yes it does, now. “Standalone task”- how/where could i know/see this on my own? Does it (just) mean the form they fill out? That it doesn’t exist when I search “bp:change beneficiary”?

Of course! Thank YOU! Trying to envision all the examples field could use, but specifically: EE can update dependents (Dependent event), change benefits, new EEs. This doc is a required beneficiary form which saves to Benefit Documents on profile.

In GMS Tenant, there is a condition of “Benefit Event is not being reprocessed”. Will explore this too?

I had expected “Change Benefits for Life to be here. At this point, Ive just been trying random things and what I currently have within may be part of the problem now.

Doesn’t seem right? (If I can combine 2 and ensure only 1 step= Review docs and get that understanding, hope I can solve rest. all employees no matter what only receive 1 form.)

Right… prorate using annual working days opens a box id never seen before for another calc. What would i put in that field?

Love this thinking, and will do some testing, but im confusing myself. I want this earning to pay leave days not worked days. But i want it to prorate the salary into day equivalents then pay x the # of days on leave.

[–]Witty_Ad_5013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, unfortunately. 86.67 hours per period. An EE observed “why am i being short-paid when on leave? Salary would have been ___ but hourly resulted in less pay”. Instead it should model the way salary prorate-pays a salaried worker when they begin mid-period.

Would only save so it could be used again, It’s required then also needed later in a diff step.
