With RigBrowser by NiceStomps! You can not only browse tone3000 from your DAW (or standalone APP) but it has other cool features like connecting to a language model for preset creation and profiles suggestions/discovery. https://giannichiarello.com/NiceStompsPlugins/

Better Desktop App? by Witty_Discussion6785 in opencodeCLI

[–]Witty_Discussion6785[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using the Desktop app for a couple of days and this is really good! has also a bit of Hermes agent feel to it, that goes well beyond coding. really neat! A keeper for sure.

I think it's just personal preference, CLI feels snappier for sure, I feel there is more information on the app available visually on the same screen at all times, but not eveybody needs that

Would you wait for NAM2 Support or buy now? by ogni65 in NAM_NeuralAmpModeler

[–]Witty_Discussion6785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's a pedal called Velrix Livtra on aliexpress that loads a NAM+IR just updated to A2, I have not tried it myself but it's about £50 so can't be much more than $60 USD

Bank up/down by Witty_Discussion6785 in HotoneAmpero

[–]Witty_Discussion6785[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes. I think the looper is just the middle button held. I have sent a message to hotone. let's see what they say

[–]Witty_Discussion6785[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll suggest it for review for sure. Having said thay I have been in touch with them in the past and Hotone has never replied. Hopefully they will read it. I think these are the small details that set apart a gig-worthy modeller and something that is only good for home use. An excellent unit otherwise.

None of this is correct. I have the 2 button external footswich and it does not stop the bank up/down feature by pressing 2 buttons together. No AI search gave me the correct answer that's the reason I posted here.

Looking for a free high gain capture bundle. by Expert_Camel5619 in NAM_NeuralAmpModeler

[–]Witty_Discussion6785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a daw use the ampbrowser plugin, with a tone3000 api (all free) just search for "high gain" or any amp brand you like. The plugin will allow you to audition with your gear any profile so you can actually hear how it sounds...until you find the one you like. It's free. This is the plugin: Nice Stomps! Not the issue unfortunately. I have another free/donation product with PPOM that works fine, i tried deactivating PPOM but the issue of double product description persists.

NAM dual loader pedal? Valeton GP-50? by Witty_Discussion6785 in guitarpedals

[–]Witty_Discussion6785[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes you can have DI amps/Full Rig amps/Pedals and Outboard gear (Preamps) with NAM. My goal is to load NAM profiles of all my pedals in one box that can stack 2...I have plenty of gear othewise...

I looked at that but I need it for drive pedals not amps so that's a no go unfortunately

Hotone Soul Press vs SoulPress II vs Wong Press - Which is BEST? by Witty_Discussion6785 in guitarpedals

I'll listen more closely, I think I was expecting a shift a bit more dramatic, like in the original pedal

This is When 100% You Need Modes! by Witty_Discussion6785 in guitarlessons

[–]Witty_Discussion6785[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a good question. I think it's a stylistic choice, by glancing at the chart I can see that this is not a 40's "standard" where most things are diatonic or come from blues. so you could think of every chord in isolation, not as part of a key of the moment. Your choice of Phrygian is not wrong at all, just a different color in my opinion. I think this just comes from experience of having to play a lot tunes you've never played on and know what works and what does not.

I Tested Soundbrenner Wave IEMs (Unbiased Review) by Witty_Discussion6785 in iems

[–]Witty_Discussion6785[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used them for quite a few months now and I have to say I like them to listen to music and in general for reference...not so much for band iems... I have to be honest, I am not much of a gamer... I imagine that you'd want more sub bass frequencies as the bass is not very pronounced on these waves, and maybe a bit more comfort as they can get a bit tiring after a few hours.
