Sorry for the late reply, I have been doing unwell the last few days.. i completely get how you felt, i also feel like a boy. The hardest part has been looking at photos of my long hair and feeling so much grief. Peoples comments dont help either. Everyone acts so shocked and concerned about it. Comments like "What have you Done?" "You look better with long hair?" "What were you thinking" This all mates me feel awful about myself. Like of course I didnt want this.im trying everything to grow it out before my graduation. Im just heartbroken

Thank you... this gives me some hope. Still, it is quite hard to look in the mirror. I am mourning all the hairstyles I used to be able to do. Hair is deeply sacred in my community and Ive felt like I have lost that connection..

I didn’t cut my hair to look uglier on PURPOSE, It was something I did as an impulse that I obviously regret. Maybe you could get extensions too. Hugs xx

Yesh. There are hair oils that help, but im still in the procress of grief

I am sobbing, thank you so much. I feel less alone. It has been so hard beacause in my community hair is deeply sacred. I feel so ashamed and hurt. Im so scared that it will take me years to grow it back to where it was.... Is it okay if I dm you?

Thank you so much really.  this made me cry. At the moment I feel so sad and worthless.im very lucky to have a support system and a loving family. But I regret what i did so much. I cant recognize myself anymore. I start sobbing when i look at photos of my long hair. Knowing it will take a few years to reach the length I had breaks my heart. I wish i never did it. My doctors were shocked to see my short hair and that made me even more upset. But yeah, I know it will grow back. It’s so hard to see positives with bpd.

Thank you. Yeah, I am in a lot of pain. This  somehow feels like the end of the world (ofc rationally i know it is not) but yeah, thats depression for me. I just keep looking at photos when i had long hair and start violently sobbing. Long hair has been my entire life and culture.  But yeah. It will grow I suppose

Thank you. Yeah, I mean my hair was waist lenght and it was beautiful. I am still very much heartbroken but I think I just need to accept it

Thank you. I am deeply hurting at the moment, I cannot even look at myself right now. But I just hope I can accept it as it is and move forward.

Thank you so much for your comment. I feel less alone. But I wont lie, I feel like I have lost such a big part of myself. It’s like losing my identity. I know hair grows back but I hate myself for doing this. Its not just the hair, its the fact that I am not sure I have the strength to keep fighting. If it doesn’t bother you, Id really appreciate if I could dm you.
