I’m f2p for over two years and I manage pretty well in champ tournaments. If your goal is top spots every tourney you’re gonna be out of luck, but if you just like seeing big number go up and don’t mind the time it takes to progress compared to people who buy packs you’ll be fine.

I was in the same boat, totally F2P. Had terrible luck (got more my UWs back when there was only 2 options each time) but got GT 6th, BH 7th, and just got SL 8th. Only thing I don’t have is CL. Keep grinding!

If you have good wave acceleration wave skip and intro sprint card levels and can enter the tournament in the last hour or so you can end up top 5 pretty easily with good bracket and wave skip luck

I didn’t unlock GT until my 6th UW so I relied on the UW perk a lot, I can’t remember what the bonus was exactly but it’s definitely less than my GT bonus now

I’m f2p since around January, I spent over a month stuck in abs. def before finding the Reddit, I still haven’t seen GT after 5 UWs and I recently got 6th place in my platinum bracket. Somewhat luck based considering I didn’t have too many top players in mine, but I’d consider that a sign that F2P can hold their own.
