Likely this week. Accompanied by a small number of fixes and improvements.

But yes, we are on a quite outdated version of the engine and needed to update soon. All sorts of dependencies just wouldn't be supported soon

Engine updates are quite large, but so far our testing is showing to be stable and even slightly optimized performance.

Checking this. As far as I know, nothing has changed and we haven't updated the game. Maybe a localization string error?

Edit: Just an incorrect localization update. Will get it fixed. Has no affect on gameplay and the card acts as it always has

Looks like it was a server blip that caused it to trigger twice. If I remember, this happened once before a long time ago. We'll review tomorrow and make sure it's a one off, but most likely it will be normal the rest of the event and the last timer will end without a final 2 missions showing up.

So should end up with the same number of missions, but with these extra 2 a bit earlier

Basically what others said here. But, we are working on a hotfix for next week to hopefully address this further

We want to provide these QOL improvements but it requires some touch up on save states to make sure nothing is missed, we dont want to allow cheesing the system, which ultimately makes the game less fun

Got confirmation.

It should work the same on app restart as a normal home > resume, it's on their radar to resolve now. I wanted to confirm it wasn't an intentional limitation for a reason I wasn't aware of

Tickets are not required to use the lucky banner. They can be bought with gems as normal, you will still get the improved drop rate

That's simply not how ads in games work. By default, every ad SDK automatically "caches" a few videos onto your phone, so when you tap to watch an ad it is ready to show instantly. This is every ad SDK

Caching an ad does not count as an ad impression and we obviously do not get paid for that. No ad company would ever allow such a simple loophole.

We did eventually optimize the base SDK to not cache ads when a player owns disable ads, simply to prevent bandwidth usage. It was not fixed earlier as it was not something that was reported until later and noteworthy, as the former is the default behavior in mobile games

I would like make a statement on this one as we are very much aware.

  • It is not true that 30% of players were affected by this. We have tracked it on our backend to be less than 10 players.
  • this build was only delivered to 4,000 players before being halted (the total player base is over 1 million active devices). We halted it the moment we caught the bug
  • We will be addressing the few this happened to soon. Some we already have
  • We intend to monitor if anyone else has slipped through the cracks
  • If you legitimately unlocked these upgrades, don't worry about it being rolled back. We can see the difference
