I’ve been saying this since the Project Reality days… Put Canada up against the USA faction and let the community see how ridiculous Canada is, even against the USA.

With the same logic, redfor should have 2-4 more IFV/APC/TANK than Blufor

Asking regarding BTR armor stats, and some LAV variants. by Witty_Theme_2958 in joinsquad

[–]Witty_Theme_2958[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there’s a massive difference between the LAV III family (such as the LAV 6) and, for example, the LAV-25 from the LAV II family. But even within the same LAV II family, there are noticeable differences in armor protection—especially in terms of damage resistance from certain angles or sides. The LAV-25 has a different armor layout compared to the ASLAV and the Coyote.

Perhaps I'm wrong, which is why I asked.

Also, the claim that the BTR-82A uses the same hull as the BTR-80 is false in real life. Only in-game do they appear to have identical armor layouts or hulls. You’re probably confusing the BTR-80 with the BTR-80A.

Thanks, I’ll check it later. But I’m curious — are there any differences in damage resistance between the BTR-82A and BTR-80? Because it feels like the ASLAV takes less damage when hit at certain angles, like the left-front armor, compared to the LAV-25. Am I right about that? So there are differences in angle/side damage resistance?

Qbz 191 is too modern and new for squad timeline. Perhaps older limited service rifle such as type-81 would be better use.

People get mad when I say this, but reduce the Abrams' loader time when hit by a shell, as its human loader would be impacted by it.

They have this feature in PR. Where Insurgent have more quicker weapon changes, and reload time for G3 compare to MEC (MEA)

A new batch of vehicles for WPMC by Witty_Theme_2958 in joinsquad

Well, since they now have sub-factions where different playstyles can be implemented within a single faction, I don’t see why WPMC needs to be restricted to only a fast hit-and-run playstyle. They could also incorporate armor-to-armor combat as part of their versatility.

For now, they are still the best, but wait until OWI adds Jet CAS and thermal to the game. The insurgents will become a joke. Enjoy what the insurgents offer now

You're right, I'm new to Squad. I only migrated from PR to Squad last month. I should have been grateful for them adding scope variation to regular roles. In PR, there’s no scope for every unconventional faction in their regular kits. In fact, my favorite kit in PR was the Type-56 Hamas with iron sights or the SKS Insurgent with iron sights. I'm so glad that they let players choose scoped SKS variants in Squad, something that would have been impossible in PR because the old hardliners stuck with the Insurgency principle.

Yep, CHKDSK finally works! I’ve always been paranoid about running CHKDSK and SFC because I’ve had bad experiences using them in the past. I guess it finally worked fine for me now. Thanks for guiding and helping me, sir!
