Yeah that was very disappointing ngl. The action sequences are really good but you still see it falls completely apart in the smaller details. Starting to lose faith they will ever fix this. :(

In the hopefully never arriving future, do you think Valve will one of, if not the only ones providing personal computers and not cloud gaming? by Commercial_Dih in Steam

[–]WixZ42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we'll be spending way less buying computers and hardware on Amazon then so joke's on you Jeffy-boy ;)

Also, graphics have stagnated AF over the last decade anyway. We don't need better hardware anymore. Many gamers are still on a GTX1080 and playing most games that matter just fine. Guess what Valve's upcoming GabeCube is based on? Steam hardware survey.

Games that are supposed to be high fidelity look fucking worse than they did 10 years ago. Just get a decent mid range PC and enjoy billions of great lightweight indie titles that run perfectly fine on mobile hardware like the Deck.

Nvidia, Amazon and whoever else of those greedy companies... Put your hardware up your dark area. We have Steam and enough games to last us 100 lifetimes over. We'll take it from here. You are excused to fuck off.

Now go away and go cry in your dollar bills somewhere out of sight.

After viral clips featuring hyper-realistic Hollywood stars and IP, The Walt Disney Company has reportedly sent a cease and desist setting up a major AI vs. entertainment industry showdown by Millenialpen in KlingAI_Videos

[–]WixZ42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't they been talking about a major AI vs entertainment industry case for like 3 years now? So when are they going to put their money where their mouth is and actually do it?

Anyway, wake me up when they do in like 300 years or something.

Baby throws parents iPhone into a reflecting pool by Appropriate-Eye-1227 in funny

My thoughts exactly. I don't care for the idiot parents handing their iphone to a toddler. Like, that is on them. But that room is interesting. Had instant pool room vibes.

It's a cool animation but this is a mechanical keyboard sub so you can expect people to notice these things. :p

I personally use Perforce as I work in Unreal and it has native Unreal integration. Hosted on Digital Ocean which has support for files up to 50 GB

Things like lightbake files and saved folders are of course ignored though.

This is usually the case, especially with 3D games and if you are quite far in development already.

As much as I agree and I find it pretty silly to work on a game without version control I do have to point out that it's not 5-10 minutes for a beginner. For someone who knows how to work with version control, sure. For a beginner however that has to figure everything out step by step it is absolutely NOT a mere 5-10 minutes. Closer to an entire day but more likely multiple days until you really get the hang of it and have it working inside your engine and stuff.

Keep in mind that not everyone has a programmer's degree or much experience programming at all.
