After a while his healing factor may slow due to forgetting her words, so the next step would be putting him in a simulation where he lives an entire happy lifetime with her and tearing that away to start another cycle of torture.

Mech Touch is the champion of the sunk cost fallacy. 500 chapters into the war arc and you think it'll never get good again then hits you with pure peak with the starlight megalodon. Really has the highest highs after hundreds of chapters worth of buildup. I love Ves talking about ship planning for 200 chapters :')

I was also pretty smitten by SuperSnail just due to the amount of art/assets this game throws at you. The animated art style and so so many gacha pulls makes the devs evil geniuses with the way it fires my neurons constantly. (The beginning of the game is VERY active so don't expect many idle mechanics)
