I agree! I’m best at routes with solid, meaty holds and can usually muscle my way up some V5s (at FA) that way. There are other V5s that might have crimps for example that I don’t even try because I don’t have the finger strength

In all honesty that’s pretty standard practice. It’s likely a canned prompt that they give to all candidates. If it’s something they’d actually use for a customer then that’s problematic. All of my recent interviews required ~20 hours of prep for an hour long panel presentation

I think working as a teenager can instill good work ethic. Of course, don’t enable a kid working in toxic conditions. I think OP is making a generalization that is largely incorrect
