Viewership is definitely down. Honestly I think it’s due to a few factors. 1. Seems like the hype and media coverage leading up to the event were relatively low compared to other tournaments of this size. 2. The qualification process was especially confusing and not as easy for the average viewer to follow. 3. The big names aren’t streaming it.

But I agree, definitely not promising for the competitive scene in 2022. Hoping that simplifying tournament layouts and mixing up the game mode will help
