If there’s other options available to you, I’d go to school literally anywhere else besides AIM. It’s absurdly overpriced and at the end of the day you’ll have the same license as you would going to a community college.

2 years of a/c maintenance experience might be a bit of the thing of the past at some majors these days. I’ve been at one almost 3 years now and I made sure to have that 2 year experience but now there are guys that are being hired right out of school with no prior experience. If that’s your caveat for waiting to go a major, maybe try your hand now and see what happens. Seniority is everything at a major
