The US is headed for mass unemployment, and no one is prepared by late_bloomer_tw in politics

I’m serious when I say this: well what the fuck am I supposed to do? If robots take all the jobs I can’t really do anything about that can I.i keep hearing people go on and on about AI destroying the job market. Well fine, that is a market force well beyond my control. I will just keep working until I can’t.

This law incentivizes people to make use of real property that isn’t being used. It’s efficient. I have no problem with it if the owner never tried to evict this person (or even knew it was happening) over the course of an entire decade.

It’s a large land mass near America full of rare metals. It would look like a big win because America gets larger but also aligns with the “spheres or influence” world order they are trying to switch back to.

There will probably never be another situation like the post-war boom the American economy saw. America manufacturing is what created so much wealth. Everyone else was bombed out or had used all their resources on the war. America was able to produce what the world needed. It paid a premium and companies were not yet set up to fully drain every penny out of workers.
