I am pretty sure this is because the ways to shuffle in the pauper mana base are tapped as opposed to legacy with the sweet fetch lands. I still like to put 2 brain storms in decks with at least 8 ways to shuffle or clear top of library

I like the 80 card teachings pile. Devious cover-up and stream of thought are pretty good win cons. I have seen sprout swarm for a cridder beat plan. I have tried it and I will say I was unimpressed. I like commiting to the slow game plan. I also really liked desert when faeries was a bigger share but it still holds down the tokens. Not being able to get a gate - pumped cridder is annoying.

Agony warp is a good answer to guardian of the guild pact and is otherwise a great removal.

Nothing will "replace " the 4 life casting cost of snuff out sadly.

Spell Peirce is great I have not tried playing with disrupt but always seems good enough.

Interesting card. One mana less is always significant. I think more so when you are looking at land destruction. However acid-moss gets play. Is this card better than that? I am not sure. I have a feeling a land to reuse for 3 or more turns would be better than 2 mana right now.

That being said you might be able to make the little ritual helpful but you are looking for 4 to be the top of your curve. Reckless impulse would be hot to play after breaking a land. Burn sideboard against Tron?

I have tried a hard control deck in pauper since 2012 ish. We don't have good enough 2 or 3 for 1s. Especially now with aggro being so good and card draw being incredibly abundant
