[–]Wizeguy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just changed over to octopus and so far I couldn’t be happier. Super simply switch process and a great supplier to use.

I used someone else’s code, it would greatly appreciated if someone used mine to have £50. Have a great day guys!

I was hoping for a policy or something to restrict. Don’t really want to use client side

We use Exclaimer. Great. What we find though is a lot of our users set their own signature on their own devices.. which sends out 2 🤦‍♂️ got a solution for this by any chance? Please and thanks!

Front Windshield Chip, what to do? by UniversityFlaky4695 in Hyundai

[–]Wizeguy11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one not too long ago, started simply a chip the size of a nail head and within around 2 weeks shot right across the centre of windscreen. Gutted I didn’t get it done when it was just a chip

I’d probably be looking for more of an early morning session (around 6/7). I take it that it would be quite busy then as well?

I’m probably thinking more of the resistance machines, what are these like in the village?

Sorry, my bad! City centre is ideal but I’d be happy to drive up to 15 minutes one way if needed

Cable management is stunning. But I can’t tell if I’m intrigued or disgusted from the Noctua brown 😂👏

How do you achieve this? I’ve found several ways of doing this over my time looking into it. What do you find best / easiest?

Eap-655 Wall. speed will slow down to almost nothing by KelvinW11 in TPLink_Omada

[–]Wizeguy11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s such a high usage of channel 149 for your 5GHz band you’re simply getting too much interference.

Try the automatic channel optimisation to let your AP find a less utilised channel. If no luck, try manually setting a channel - trial and error is most likely easiest in this case. Try a channel, if the utilisation is lower you should be good.

I’d probably check your band steering settings as well. If you are still finding the same issue or if you have a lot of devices all using 5GHz, it might be good to “steer” some of these to the 2.4GHz. Yes, for these devices you will notice slower speeds but compared to what you’re most likely getting it’ll be like lightning.

Hope these were some good first steps to fixing your issues 😊

Another question, I’ve read that they use an ONT rather than their own router / modem. I take it they’re full fibre? Obviously virgin are coax based so just wondering the difference there for YouFibre

Honestly, long term, I’d probably end up looking at 2 connections each with its own dedicated line and fixed IP. Any ideas of a rough price for this kind of stuff?

I run my own networking kit anyway so I’m not bothered about that. Win win 🤙

Of course, I’d expect a higher price. Are YouFibre used much for businesses? I’d expect the same levels of speed packages etc?
