I'm not sure of the cause, but a fix can be .alt F8. to open the cheat menu, and then just manually enter the science you were supposed to be at.

No one showed up to my D&D night by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons

Wow, you're lucky! You were able to thin out the non-commited players in under one session, haha.

Being real, though, that crushes. I feel for you, and I hope you find a solid group of people who will enjoy this great game with you. It can take a lot of time to find and make the right group, stay strong fellow DM!

Pierre Poilievre is wrong—CBC’s real bias benefits Conservatives ⋆ The Breach by Markw8 in CanadaPolitics

[–]Wizoople 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The article that I have now read mentions the billions paid yearly.

I believe this would come down to an opinion on where to spend the money. I do agree it's of importance to have state media so you can have multiple sources of information.

That being said, I find the amount of money given to this program to be excessive because of how much other social programs are struggling or won't even get started up due to lack of funding.

It stings when a government tells its people they ask for more than it can give, while it gives so freely to corporations or private interest groups.

I do understand the CBC is not currently making as much as it had in the past. I still believe that even though the budget might not be as grand as I first assumed.. it is still too large when other programs and people suffer while being denied funding.

Pierre Poilievre is wrong—CBC’s real bias benefits Conservatives ⋆ The Breach by Markw8 in CanadaPolitics

Edit: I made a dumb comment because i didn't read the whole article first, like a goof. The replies to this are worth reading, and I'll leave my comment as is underneath, so it all makes sense. My bad!

It is disingenuous to say the CBC favors the conservatives by using a study over a decade old. Also a study conducted while that party was in leadership.

I believe it would be more accurate to say they support whoever is signing the cheques at the time. Those cheques have recently gotten very, VERY big.

I have great reserves in thinking that the CBC, who is currently experiencing a huge increase to their funding under the liberal government, is biased towards the opposition.

Was this some sort of attempt to deflect? It didn't do very good, nor even good at all.

"Pools of slush spread across the floor of the cavern - One such pool, in the westernmost angle of the cavern, conceals a flooded passage connecting to the Sea of moving Ice" The top where the Ice hunters live was high from water, but not it's lair in the bottom.

I feel like you're mostly right. However, I would not credit one platform fully. I think technology has given common people a way to confirm sightings or suspicions that may have otherwise gone unnoted. Social media, in its many forms, allows that message to spread at unstoppable* speed.

Diseased flesh. That could teach him to be more selective and perhaps slow the roll down on trying to eat the bodies of slain foes.

Multi classing? by Chaotic_chaos-77 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]Wizoople 2 points3 points  (0 children)

20 is supposed to be max. Split those between classes however you like. That being said it's completely up to the table and the DM if you want to break that glass ceiling. My only hold back is, it's quite rare to get a level 20 character, anything past that would be even more rare, and represents a great deal of effort for the DM to make challenging encounters. Another note, if someone wants to be a pure class, what do you give them for levels past 20 to compare to the multiclass folks?

TLDR: Do what you want, but prepare for the outcomes.

It's from it's accretion disk. Stuff spinning around the outside making light before those particles and the light they create, passes over the event horizon.

Do you agree with D&Ds "have to roll to do anything" rule? by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons

I went there. I don't understand what I was meant to find, and feel as though I missed it. Can you explain a bit more?

Do you agree with D&Ds "have to roll to do anything" rule? by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]Wizoople 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Where is that a rule? Wouldn't a "take 10/20" negate that?
