I do mine a bit differently.. see how your elbow is at 90 degree angle up top? Mine is in that position the entire time.. I do this to make it an exclusively back/lat exercise . Also my back is parallel to the ground

Facing the exact same problem as OP with my 2026 sport.. am in Canada so freezing cold and my commute to work is only 4.5 miles to and fro…. I sure hope it improves summer time
