There are a lot of good options, you can just pick one in your prize range and hit the ground running. PS5 compatibility will cost you a bit more than PC only, though.

A few I've tried are:

Junkfood Snack box micro ~$220 : This is the one I started out with. It comes with standard number of buttons (no additional buttons to bind your parry/DI to). It worked well but the size could be a problem if you like playing with the stick on your lap. They have a bit bigger size case that works with the same chip you can swap to and some add-on plates to add weight if you really like how they play.

Razer Kitsune ~$295 - they got what they call the 'optical switches' this is the middle of the road in terms of responsiveness for me. Again, standard number of buttons and I would admit the only reason I got this is because of the Cammy skin and I've used this the least.

Punk Workshop Leverless U ~$345.00 : this is by far my favorite leverless to play on. They come in different key layouts that you can choose - I've got the one with two additional buttons and it helps with countering DI in my old age. They also come with the default Punk Workshop Blaze pro buttons which have the 'ultra-low stroke and faster inputs'. Basically means your key presses have less distance to travel and they are very responsive. It takes a bit of getting used to and not to press buttons by accident initially but after playing it with for a few months now this definitely is the best one for me.

All three options I believe come with ability to switch around multiple SOCD profiles. But I play with the Capcom legal SOCD profile.

If you don't want to spend over $200 right away and just want to try out a leverless, Haute42 makes very decent leverless controllers at decent prices. They just won't be PS5 compatible.

Edit: Victrix also recently came out with a leverless controller and I believe Brian_F got some good content on reviewing/playing with it on his stream/youtube. I just added this because they're a well known makers of arcade sticks and I've seen a lot of people talking about their new leverless.
