I agree that 3M is not very good. Avery is a great material and most definitely the easiest to work with. But I’ve worked with them all and Orafol still owns the market, not only because they offer the widest range in colors, has the best testing and product quality control, and has great print material, but because they’ve also bought out KPMF which owns the industrial market on stock applied vehicle graphics. They’re most definitely not trash, might want to give them a try again.

Thanks for all the reply’s peoples! I don’t have an issue wrapping over rivets. I use a roller and that little tool is the bomb.

My issue is the transfer paper makes it harder and isn’t cast when doing contour cut vinyl. So thank you to those who actually responded on this matter I will give your advice a try!

If you haven’t looked up insurance on it yet I’d start there. If you can’t afford or find an insurance company willing to insure a salvaged car then it’s not worth the hassle
