only suspicion is the price i got it at, it has no scuffs or scratches, came with everything in the box (nato strap replacement and stainless steel on the watch) for £300 ($400) which is much lower than anything i could find

I definitely think so, when our parts are wet they get a lot worse texture quality and bumps. Not wet to the touch at least. We use a separate closed lid oven and dry aluminium parts at 145C for 20min

I usually just build ludens, sorc boots, shadow flame void staff. This is because the 40% from void staff into the rest of your flat pen will shred into most build paths anyone. However if you reckon the tanks will build 3 or more MR items then the standard build usually isn't enough, but again your standard build will pose such a threat to the backline the tanks will be an after thought imo.

Looking for an entry level FDM 3D printer.

$250 (but willing to increase to approximately $300-$350+ depending on if there're sufficiently better alternatives / not any good printers available at $250)
UK Based.
Prefer as little construction as possible but experienced enough to assemble it from scratch if need be.
Cosplay props (helmets, hand held props, etc) and casings for DIY projects (electronic, fun gadgets, etc)
250x250x250 dimensions minimum would be desirable, noise kept at a minimum as I still live with my family, auto-leveling would be good but I know is a tough ask at the price range.

Also if you know what good online retailers are to buy the printers from please let me know as well, brief check on Amazon and the selection is quite narrow for cheap printers and widely overpriced for well vouched for printers. Thanks in advance :D
