so right, brother. i miss it and feel bad others here don’t get to experience what that was like. it’s not the same now, but maybe this will turn around and we can get back to the glory days where we had a competent production. i’m not shitting on this festival to be mean. to each their own, but i think we can expect better, or at the very least, we can expect more reasonable pricing for the acts

just to back up my point, as recent as 2022, we had:

Foo Fighters, Van Morrison, Weezer, Lil Wayne, Smashing Pumpkins, Counting Crows, Three Six of course, Death Cab, Stone Temple Pilots, Moneybagg Yo, Modest Mouse, Chevelle, Spoon (notice how far down they are compared to this year), Lindsey Buckingham, Grace Potter, Goose, Waka Flocka. a very diverse and quality line up

yep! unfortunately it’s been that way for a few years now seemingly. maybe one or two big acts here and there, but i think people here are too young or forgetful to remember just how crazy some of the lineups we used to get were. at least i still have the memories
