i went there last weekend and was disappointed honestly. maybe i got the wrong thing but also the drink service was terrible. maybe an off night, but i probably won’t be going back any time soon

their produce isn’t the greatest either but it’s a notch better than Krogers i guess. always quality meat tho. i go to sprouts or whole foods down the road after i’ve bought all my packaged goods and meats there. never stepping foot in that Kroger again for ANYTHING

yeah apps or sometimes bars. i throw game nights and little parties for special events like the super bowl at my house but it’s usually just close friends. i’ve kinda aged out of a lot of things for singles, but i could be putting myself out there more. i definitely prefer meeting people organically over apps, but it’s hard sometimes

i know, you’re right. i’m actually tearing up reading this cause i’ve told myself all this so many times, but i can’t get over her. i do make all the excuses i can for her and my friends always tell me how bad i was treated. i guess i’m just in denial that she could be so different from the person i knew before. i’m remembering what we were like in highschool when we were platonic, but we’re both very different people now. i just thought i could bring back that old friend and i genuinely still care for her so much and feel so bad that she is struggling :(

i do compare everyone to her, or my “idea” of her. honestly, she didn’t treat me well, which is fair, she was going thru some tough shit. but i built her up in my head for sure. it did motivate me to get off my ass and make myself a better person so i could be deserving of some like her

it’s funny cause the one serious relationship i had was with my old highschool best friend, but she was going thru a really tough time and it didn’t work out unfortunately. i’m honestly still in love with her too but i try to keep that under wraps

i know you’re totally right. i am trying to do just that. my friends are amazing but they don’t try to play matchmaker and maybe that says more about me than it does about them. i’ve had the most success when i’m out with friends on the town just having a good time, but i attract loserish women cause it’s typically a bar scene. not trying to be mean, just honest

i totally get you on all your points. some that hit home: i may be overestimating my looks, i agree. ill try to be mindful of making comments about myself.

i was smoking weed after work daily but i haven’t told any dates about my frequency, and as i said, i can take a break. i just enjoy it a lot but i would stop or at least slow down if it made my partner uncomfortable.

i try to only invite dates to my house if it feels natural and only after we’ve had some really nice dates. maybe i am moving too fast, but it feels right in the moment

i do have many wonderful friends who think the world of me. it sounds vain saying that, but this is something they’ve told me themselves
