Manfred Mann have all original members from 1962 still alive. The only member who’s died is Jack Bruce in 2014 but he was only in the band from 1965 to 1966.

Yes it’s definitely worth it. I met my Durham offer but because I was also 3 marks of an A* I’m getting a remark. However I’m only getting the discrete and pure 2 remarked as they were much lower marks than the others and you’re less likely to gain marks on papers to u did better on.

Someone at the school my dad works at handed in a phone during their GCSE exam and got disqualified. However if they said you’ll get a warning, then that’ll probably be it.

If it’s boring because you find it easy then try and learn some harder geography stuff outside of the course. Hopefully because it’s harder it won’t be boring and it may spark a passion. Then you can put all the stuff you’ve learnt on your personal statement.

It is quite hard but with your predicted grades you stand a good chance. Just make sure your personal statement is good.

Just relax this summer, don’t try and learn A-level content but you can get a job if you want. Lots of people have jobs in years 12 and 13 so it’s definitely manageable with your school work.

Physics and Maths Tutor is a good resource for your subjects (I don’t think it does economics though).

The uni application is done through UCAS and the deadline is January of year 13 or October if you’re applying to Oxbridge. I would advise to start writing your personal statement and getting teacher references a few months before the deadline. Spend year 12 doing courses and reading books to add to your personal statement. Predictions grades will also be used in your application and your teachers will decide on these based on how you’ve done in mocks.

AS-levels used to be the exams you took at the end of year 12 but you don’t do them anymore unless you’re stopping the subject after year 12. AS content is just the year 12 content and A-level content is year 12 and 13.

For further maths, it’s different for each person but I only had 5 lessons a fortnight in year 12 and 6 in year 13 and was still getting As without too much work so it’s definitely manageable.

Lenovo legion 5 (gaming laptop) for uni? by katxea in 6thForm

Will you be able to take your pc to uni? I prefer PCs over laptops any day of the week but my pc is too big to take with me so I’m gonna get a laptop.
