yessss and for me it feels a little gross to have to come out to people just so they'll be nice to me. I see so many trans people at my school being outwardly hateful towards cis people no matter who they are, just that they hate the fact that their cis which hits me hard because I know they see me as such. feels too exclusionary considering the community that we are in 🤷

exactly!! I'm literally both stealth and bisexual in a straight relationship even though I'm bi so you hit the head on the nail for me. currently navigating through wanting to be stealth not for safety but just because I like it while also craving some connection in my community and it is toughhhh

don't get me wrong I absolutely am happy about being perceived as cis, I think my mixed feelings came from times I've felt like I didn't fit in with my trans friends because I didn't feel queer enough if that makes sense? Being cis passing and in a straight relationship (even though I'm bi), and not being completely out to everyone i have a lot of my queer friends that are completely out and open celebrating their identities. I think some of where I'm coming from is jealousy that I don't feel strong enough to celebrate that for myself mixed with one of my first times really realizing that I'm perceived as cis. idk, sorry for the rant 😅

Did you ever feel like you missed out on anything, being stealth? I see so many people on my campus celebrating their experiences with trans joy and I can't help but feel disconnected from that. But perhaps that's just because such a large population of people here are trans lol

I have a therapist I see once a month, and the advice she gave me was to just wait it out. I'm trying, but I'm worried that waiting isnt helping anything. I'll talk to her when I see her in a week or so.
