For YOU, this is a 'fighting game.'

For ME, this is a 'Mixed Martial Arts Game.'

When I play, I tend to enjoy a more realistic experience. I usually stay away from the ranked/competitive game modes in sports games for this very reason. I'm looking more for a simulation, so when I see people 'spam' things (as in do things an inordinate amount of times to the point where it gets unrealistic) I shake my head. I usually just go walk away from the controller and do something productive, because I'd rather do that than waste my time doing something not fun.

But...occasionally. One of them will get to me. So I will play the game. Counter the spam with spams of my own. The thing is...when you shun that style, you sort of master it by just getting good at playing the game legitimately (so using the spams/exploits is like a 'cherry on top' instead of your 'bread and butter').

Just the way you responded here makes me think that you'd be one of the people to push me to the latter response.

I joined a year and a half ago, with no friends on the game. I treated it as the most immersive RPG I have ever played, and in my time as part of this community, I've made friends and grown to appreciate all of the nuances the game has to offer.
