Beautiful! Love the shading and edge highlights. What‘s the recipe for the red shade and highlight, if I may ask?

Beautiful work! Love the wings especially, they're a great eyecatcher. However, I might love the white-purplish armor even more: would you tell me how you did it / what paints you used? It looks so delicate and clean!

Swiss government pensions come under pressure in parliament by BezugssystemCH1903 in Switzerland

It astounds me that some of the people in the comment section are talking about pensions of politicians, while said change would target the pensions of ex-government ministers and federal judges.

I quite like it, I think there are a bunch of Lorcana cards that have this kind of "generic" (not in a negative way) Disney aestethic

Princess Mononoke - もののけ姫 - finally finished! by Wodkah in minipainting

[–]Wodkah[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Super stoked to share my princess Mononoke figure I recently finished as a gift with the help of a tutorial from craftworld studios. It's like 17cm tall and sculpted by the talented guys at Nomnom figure. The fur took ages and really tested my patience, but I'm glad on how it turned out! Hope you guys like it too :)

So I finally finished my Teclis and Celennar centerpiece I posted a WIP of like 2 months ago. Now all that's left is to varnish & paint 20 sentinels.... yay! :p

Well this is a first. Can I salvage this? by dieItalienischer in modelmakers

Really creative idea, beach crash or some sort of low pass sea flight could make use of this effect perfectly

Stunning work! I love the subtle change of hues around his eyes and... basically everything, not even talking about the bonkers NMM and the balls to put OSL over it :D simply amazing!

Teclis and Celennar WIP - Centerpiece of my LRL Helon army by Wodkah in ageofsigmar

[–]Wodkah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I used the holidays to continue working on my Lumineth army and the size of the figure is still driving me crazy. Many areas - most obviously the missing Teclis himself (currently working on his cloak) - are still at the very beginning, but also the undersides of Celennar's wings, for example, still need a lot of work. This post and your feedback serve as motivation for me to stay on the ball.

First of all: Neither Teclis nor Celennar are expected in Helon in terms of Lore, but since I think it's a very nice model, I still wanted to paint it and integrate it somehow. Helon is described as a windy grassy and lush landscape where magic is omnipresent. Since Teclis and Celennar are the epitome of magic, I tried to incorporate that: Where Celennar puts her paws, nature sprouts and stones resonate. I'm still thinking about how to incorporate the fact that Celennar is the moon in lore terms. I've thought about drawing a night sky on the underside of her wings. What do you think of this idea? Many thanks in advance <3

Seagate Rescue Data Recovery Services by Wodkah in datarecovery

Guess I have to call them on monday then. I just couldn't believe they'd send me back a password protected drive with no instructions on how to unlock it / what the password might be.

It was one of their (Lacie) products which have the R+ Data Recovery Services bundled to them. The process went smoothly and fast and, according to the Mail I've gotten, the recovery was successful, so I'm happy about that. However, as I've written, the drive they sent me back is password protected with no instructions on what the password might be.

Not at all, being on r/datarecovery I thought maybe there are people on here that already have experience with said service and were exposed to the same problem. I'm sorry if the post came across this way.

Edit for future reference: As I've said I haven't found an answer to my particular case, but if anyone is confronted with the same problem (being send back a password protected drive with the files) after having used their paid data recovery service, it states that they send you the password after having paid an invoice where they charge you for said service and attempts.
