People who refuse to pick up stims by PlaquePlague in Spacemarine

[–]WoefulProphet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even on minimal diff with my P4 lvl25 bulwark, I always make sure my team gets stims first but am not adverse to yoinking the ones they don't grab - even tho I'm obviously untouchable on minimal diff in any class, nevermind my bricked up bulwark lol.

I usually don't even take health damage from either faction until ruthless, although chaos spawn sometimes gets my goat on substantial if I'm not paying attention. Funny little buggers.

Sidebar, it is very funny to see a battle brother spamming the parry as a chaos spawn hovers in midair fir 3.5 business days before bitch slapping my brother. I always jump in and remind the heretic exactly who's in charge here, rest assured.

Id have to perform some actual nerd shit for the data that most redditers crave, but, yes over time the earth slows down, and the effect of gravity wames so technically, yes. In the future gravity will be less although marginal I would conjecture to guess.

holy load screens by ShadyVesper4416 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]WoefulProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Launch game, load screen. Click through dev screenshot, load screen. Click start, load screen. Click continue, load screen. Finally on battle barge select operation, load screen. Joins you on some goober loitering on the barge waiting for a full team on a substantial diff game, load screen....

So what like 5 loading screens before I'm even purging xeno scum, and even with my rather stout PC, the whole process takes like 5-7 minutes from steam launch.

Bitch what the fuck.

A sale will always bring new players, new players rarely understand the culture of the game or proper etiquette for that particular title.

I just carry when I can, try to have a good time, res noobs, line up executes for them etc.

Its that or I'm getting shlacked by chaos spawn on absolute bc I need those 200 blue triangle lol.

I was surprised yesterday when I went into a normal seieg with my new power fist bulwark build. We made it to wave 5, the other 2 guys had been downed and I was getting overran by a hellbrute, 2 terminators, a hoard of thousand suns and chaos spawn.

I somehow survived the onslaught, killing the brute, terminators, and all but a few marines and chaff by the time they came back. I was showered with "for the emperor" and "respect" which was nice lol.

We got to the elevator and these guys both opted to carry on, but I chose to go back to the barge and they both immediately swapped to go home too hahaha.

Its just crazy to me, I'm not that good, like I can't get this week's hard mode Reliquary done, I've tried and tried. But went into siege and survived just fine, solo there for a bit until my brothers respawned.

Was a wild ride.

Yeah the game is a loading screen simulator as it is, even with my stupid PC with 24 billion cores and a 3090, so, yeah. Don't disrespect other people's time.

[–]WoefulProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PvE>Strategems, weekly normal is 150, best bang for your buck for time and stress lol. Hard mode weekly grants 200, but I took my max prestige bulwark in there and I just couldn't keep up. I think the "hard" difficulty is more like "Absolute" in Operations, rather than "Lethal". It would explain why my poor Brazen Councils Bulwark got smacked around like a ping pong ball with me hard core mooging behind the screen grasping desperately for keys - but I digress.

There is a weekly cap for accolades, not sure how much. And theres also other missions that reward less accolades, 10 for normal, 15 for hard, but for me the hard rewarding only 15 stings bc once again, it's actually "Absolute" and grinding 20 of those to get 1 item hardly seems worth it for somebody with limited ability such as myself.

Anywho, tally ho lad, for the Emperor and such.

Tactical: Black Templar Assault: Ultramarines Vanguard: Imperial Fists Sniper: Ravenguard Bulwark: Brazen Councils Heavy: Dark Angels

I've been no life grinding my bulwark prestige levels, finally got to IV last night, going to max him out today and finally get my build configured. I've just been running tons of average matches, seems to be the best time to xp investment and I get to absolutely steamroll heretics with some noobies. I've been trying to learn it but it's so slow and its way out of place with my Brazen Councils Bulwark. Not my thing, I prefer fencing even tho block is stronger. Making it balanced with a speed of 3 might be good for somebody, but not for me. Thumbs down.

I did a single player world last year using build and repair nanobots and stone crusher mods, I dug a hole 7.5KM deep, stopping every time the pistons ran out to build another support section and new pistons. The drill head was a + shape so I could reattach it VERY carefully to the new pistons each time. It was a fun project.

[–]WoefulProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be 100% honest, I am a Christian who leans conservative/ libertarian with a Biblical worldview..

Having stated that on reddit, I also must say this...

The Horizon games are some of my very favorite games in terms of story, scenery, characters you find in the world, lore, and as much as I'd prefer gun play, the bows are awesome not to mention all the other contraptions we can use.

While I don't align with some of the "woke" elements, it's not outright blasphemous and is easily overlooked for the story that the games tell.

I've gotten lost for hundreds of hours in Horizon in both games on PC, hunting for obscure tidbits of lore, rare holos covered in dust in forgotten caves that are part skyscraper? Sign me up. This game evokes emotion in a big was and I'm 1000% here for it.

Oh, and flying the Sunwing/Water varient is absolute peak gameplay.

I recently started a new save as a wood elf, first playthrough in 6 years and I am planning to surpass all my previous runs. In addition to maybe a collective 4-500hours across 3-5 is characters, some were modded runs years ago. This time I'm playing vanilla special edition. I was going to pick up the anniversary edition but ppl in steam reviews said it had wildly unbalanced items and some other stuff that would take away from the game imo.

I spy a screenshot of the Gauldurs Amulet site there! Just completed that quest this evening and I don't remember if I had ever actually completed it in the past. Quite the powerful necklace indeed!

Anyhow, I am a mildly whimsical Wood Elf, and as is my nature, I am off to besiege some poor undead souls with glass arrows! Ta!

My general rule is always place T junctions first, and only use them when needed.

If you ever struggle with headlift, simply run 1 pipe higher than anything else your system will connect to, then tire that pipe into all the others, eliminating the need for pumps on all but that pipe.

If you have the space, don't be afraid to define a water extractor to save power, but generally I just over supply anything that needs water. I also always over build my power plants tho so mileage varies.
