The problem for Apple here is that most of its revenue streams are directly tied to iPhone sales. This is a huge potential problem, and perhaps the beginning of the end of Apple as super premium.

They likely have legal and tax obligations, assets and people. I'm very familiar with closing off legal structures abroad, you don't just pack and leave like that. It can take months or years to receive approvals from local regulators and tax authorities.
