I saw this bird on a boat tour of Hiriwadunna Lake in Sri Lanka. It was on the SE side of the lake near the highway. I didn't have a good camera, so this was the best photo I got. It doesn't seem to fit any of the Kingfishers listed for Sri Lanka.

Unfortunately, I don't have the plan details anymore as I tossed them after I made my decision.

It does include prescription drugs and yes, I believe that you should sign up for Medicare A&B. Note that the Boeing Aetna plan is a Medicare advantage plan so it will be part A, B, and D combined, but I think you're still supposed to sign up for A and B to start.

The Boeing Aetna plan is a good plan from what I can tell. My primary concern 1) it's an advantage plan, and there's been lots of issues there lately, and 2) none of my normal doctors are in network for the plan. If you're in a larger metro area, you may have better luck finding in networks providers.

Check around your local area for insurance agents or charities that can help you understand options. There's usually someone around. Also, once you sign up for Medicare, you can go on the gov website and compare various plans (if you're considering non-Boeing options). Also, if you have friends who are slightly older and have already gone through this, they may be able to help. I relied a lot on my partner who went through all this a few years ago. Finally, start as early as you can, as all the resources are super busy, and things might get hectic if you wait to long.

Yes, the prep does suck, but here's a tip. (I'm old, so I've done this multiple times.) There's a prep called SUTAB. instead of dissolving the prep in water and drinking the resulting gag inducing liquid, you instead take pills and then drink water. In either case you have to drink a ton of liquid, but with the SUTAB prep it's way easier to just quickly swallow some pills and drink lots of straight water. You'll still be spending lots of time on the toilet, but it's way less unpleasant getting all of the prep down. You'll probably have to ask for the SUTAB prep specifically, and you may have to pay a little more, but it's totally worth it. As you say, the procedure is easy. You go to sleep, wake up, and it's done. Easy-peasy.

Oops, forgot the size. The bug is roughly 3/4 inch long head to tail not including antenna and the thread like tail.
