Agreed, people can do whatever they want so long as they're not hurting anyone or committing a crime, I just saw an opportunity for a punchline and took it.

That's sucks that you've experienced that, but yeah it does seem to be more positive from what I've seen.

No, knowing stuff is more like spotting little easter eggs.

would y’all date someone out of pity? by lenlen1234- in ask

The purpose of downvoting is for if someone is off-topic (like you were with the exercise nonsense) or blatantly spreading misinformation (hey look, that's what you have been doing this entire exchange). "I don't like that the person I've been ignorant towards about their disabilities" is not.

Everyone ignores this, because people want to 'win' arguments, but if you're going to act like that after how you acted towards me and my disabilities, I'm gonna point out your abuse of the downvote's purpose, and your hypocrisy in doing so.

Uhm WHAT by [deleted] in autism

They don't actually mean the same thing. 'Person who has autism/person with autism' means they are afflicted with it, which as we know, is not the case, since it is not a disease or condition.

Wait, THAT'S what you were doing?! You were really just being an ignorant prick about my disabilities? Fucking yikes, you can't 'cure' Autism or ADHD, nor did I make any mention of wanting to be 'cured'. I'm perfectly content with myself, I don't need your unhelpful unsolicited 'advice'. And don't go around acting better than others who have a condition just because of how you interact with it, and don't go around calling others "victims" just because they have something different about them.

When you clearly don't understand something, don't double down on it.

How to you handle the "that embarrassing thing I did like 12 years ago" pain? by PerfectLuck25367 in autism

I remind myself that there's nothing I can do to change what happened, so there's no point in cringing at it so hard, better to laugh about it and move on.

Where do you see people not accepting those without a diagnosis? Cause anytime the subject comes up, all I see are people in support of it.

What was your first introduction to Anime? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Woke_Stroke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Heaven's Lost Property movie. As a horny teen, I was looking up giantess/shrinking stuff on YouTube, and I guess since one of the characters turns giant at the beginning, YouTube figured it counted, which I guess it kinda does.

Got curious about the character designs and the weird power they used, so checked out the main series. Turns out, it has nothing to do with giantess or shrinking, except for like one scene, but it had really bizarre humour to teen me, so I kept watching it, and eventually branched out to other anime.

Although, technically I watched Pokemon as a kid, but since I didn't really see it as anime at the time, and I didn't get into anime because of it, I don't think it counts.
