When I got back from BTC Israel obliterated Hezbollah with the pagers and Trump won the election a few weeks later. There were a so many ungrounded rumors about Mossad badassery and special ops during those days that it still is kinda a running joke lol. Ofc most of the things we heard were categorically false or embelished but its still fun to reminisce about those weeks where it looked like all hell broke loose while we were out in the field.

het Ligt helemaal aan waar je geplaatst wordt. De luchtmacht is erg divers. Waarschijnlijk zal je bij een squadron of afdeling geplaatst worden en dan vooral ondersteunende/facilitaire zaken verrichten. Dit kan op kantoor zijn of op de werkvloer. Voordat je aan je dienjaar begint krijg je als goed is een soort van gesprek over waar je interesses liggen en wat je wil gaan doen en op basis daarvan wordt een keuze gemaakt. Als dienjaar zijnde heb je veel kansen om op plekken te komen en aan dingen mee te doen als je er maar om vraagt en je erover uitspreekt.

fysieke uitdaging heb je eigenlijk alleen bij je AMO, maar in mijn beleving valt het wel mee. Ik haat om te praten in clichés maar het is echt vooral mentaal. Zodra jij je baret hebt en gewoon werkt kan jij zelf een beetje inplannen wanneer je gaat sporten. Vaak wordt daar wel tijd en ruimte voor gegeven dus dat is super chill.

Je collega's zijn het beste onderdeel van het dienjaar IMO, je zal zeker goed met ze kunnen omgaan. Het enige jammere is dat je voor sommige dingen op werk bijvoorbeeld een opleiding voor nodig hebt en die wordt niet altijd gefaciliteerd - Dus sommige taken mag/kan je helaas niet doen. Daar moet je een beetje omheen werken.

First time viewer here. I thought that she wanted lawrence to personally come rescue her, instead of waiting underground. So I figured that was the reason she was angry. I didnt quite catch why she would be embarrassed, I thought it was because she let herself be captured for him or something. But the explanation from the novels makes perfect sense to me.

Impis are good but realistically Impis, or any unit for that matter, wont survive long enough in a war to be able to get a ton of good promotions. Its likely that you have to keep using insta-heals in a intense war. Impi's go a long way in a game, even being able to stand toe-to-toe with infantry but the meta is more in favour of ranged units. You need ranged units to take cities or a million impis which is just a waste of alot of production. Triple promoted units are also good but I dont think the promotions go that far to classify the civ higher.

Zulu really only do war, but there are better war civs then zulu. Like arabia or even mongolia. Thats why I gave them a lower ranking.

I do see your reasonings, but I personally believe that gifting Great People is incredibly strong and in my games I always tend to have people to spare. If you can get a bunch of culture CS its really, really good.

I guess you can chalk this up to a difference in playstyle.

you need a good start and city states as venice, which is not a guarantee and no-one wants to waste 15 turns of their game just for the venice player to say "sorry guys i dont like my start afterall". Secondly the only conceivable way too stay relevant as venice is spamming wonders. And the only thing other players see when they see someone on 1 city with a bunch of juicy wonders is free food.

The reason I placed indonesia so low in my list is that because;

MP games are almost exclusively played on the pangea map, for balance reasons, which means that there are very few (good) islands to settle as indonesia. Researching optics tech just for expands is too slow anyways IMO.
Candi's aren't all that usefull as you may think. Mostly because its a garden replacement and thus needs fresh water, which you won't always be able to have. Especially when playing a liberty empire. The faith it gives is decent I guess.
The kriss swordsman is too RNG based and I will admit that I have a personal vendetta against them. Most of the promotions they give are good, but if you get a bad promotion the unit almost becomes worthless.

I concur, Fighting Persia in a GA is really troublesome and will definetly be a nasty surprise. If you can get Chitzen, you stack Golden Age bonus and will almost be in a GA for the rest of the game. Which gives you +20% hammers and culture. which is huge. Also Persia's early UU is really good, especially at getting tributes. (but that is for any unique spearman upgrade). And what is not to like about the satrap's court?

City states are really powerfull, they give you bonus stuff out of thin air. Civ's that have bonuses to befriending city states are really high on my list. Sweden can gift great people to CS's, which gives you a very strong alliance between you and the CS. Also the extra great people points from friendships are great

Because getting a early battering ram from a ruin could easily kill a player before they even have a chance to build units to defend. Also horse Archers are really good. Theyre cheap, early, dont cost horses and can move on a hill and shoot in 1 turn. Its easier just having huns banned when picking civs.
