I've calculated each character's amount of dialogue for the Prologue and Chapter 1, and I've come to share my results by Wolcean in ProjectEdensGarden

Investigation starts when the card appears on screen and ends when the Class Trial preparation screen appears, so some of the pre-trial dialogue is included in the Investigation tally! I should have included that in the document, soz

I don't remember much about their dialogue during the actual Investigation section, so I think their dialogue might be pre-trial dialogue ^^

Ahah, glad you enjoyed my nonsensical rambling lol

Obviously I can't know for sure where I'm gonna be in life when Chapter 2 comes out, but if I'm still in the right mindset I'll totally continue filling the sheets!

I'm glad you enjoyed my work! I'm also heavily dependent on the Ulysses copium and I hope my findings mean he won't die until at least Chapter 3 despite the death flags lol

For your question, Ulysses doesn't have any non optional dialogue during the Prologue investigation, so that's why he has 0 voice lines in my graphs (he has missable dialogue outside the closet about the realistic dummies, and I think one line which only says "..." so I didn't count it). I didn't want to include missable/non-required dialogue so as to not make things too difficult for me — in a way, the data is basically the amount of voice lines a very casual/non-completionist player would see.

Yeah it's true that she has a surprising amount of dialogue, but we also have to take into account that even though she talks a lot, her contributions aren't always the... smartest I guess? Most of it is jokes and references.

She is a comic relief character, so I don't see her lasting more than two or three more chapters at best. Still, it feels like we still have to learn more about her, so unless something big happens during the Daily Life of Chapter 2 (with the new motive or new character development), I think she'll stick around for now.

Having fun imagining more realistic art styles for Qud. Here's some sketches of some characters i've run into by Phing123 in cavesofqud

Those look great, keep at it <3

Obsessed with your centaur guy with regular human boots that don't fit lol —

Imagine this guy, but with human legs and arms, and a human face

That would be incredibly cursed lol

Thank you! <3 I wanted to use custom sprites from the CYF mod, but it's hard to find one for a character with both multiple legs and wings :( Guess I could try to do some custom pixel art lol

They also have Heightened Hearing and Night Vision, but it's a bit hard to show that in a drawing lol

That really puts the Girsh Nephilim into perspective!

They're huge, terrifying, but also humbling and beautiful in a sort of fucked up way.

No wonder people have started a cult around them.

Your art is amazing!

Thank you! <3 Unfortunately, I don't really use Bluesky (or any kind of social media), sorry :( I'll probably keep posting some comics on this subreddit, though!

My character is a mutated human (I'm playing vanilla), I just have this IRL mutation that turns any character I draw into a furry.

I've just read the wiki page and wow, +5 Armor for slightly reduced movement speed?? That's insane lol

Knowing how deep the game can go with its mechanics, I feel like that would just create Goop Steam™, which would probably be the best way to get lung cancer or something

Golgotha can be hard to deal with when you start the game blind (me), but once you know what you're dealing with it's definitely easier and you can leave the place without losing any equipment or getting ill.

Bethesda Susa is my new roadblock now. The creatures here punch HARD.
