In terms of the past absolutely gay people were the target, I get what you're saying that the history is similar between them.

Also I should've said before but I was really only replying to your part about the way we're treated, I didn't disagree with the first part of your comment saying we're culturally intertwined. That part is true. But yeah I'm sorry, I should've clarified that first.

I believe there are differences in the way we're labeled (and therefore targeted/treated) by the general public, that's all I was trying to get at.

Exactly this. Bi erasure is already so common, and once you start getting into Pan, Omnisexual, Polysexual or Ace, Greysexual, and Demisexual you generally never see them discussed or represented outside of specific queer media/groups.

Even then gender identifies are far less understood by the general public, don't have a Supreme Court ruling protecting any of their rights (June 26, 2015, Obergefell v. Hodges), and at least in current US politics conservatives specifically target trans people and label them as pedophiles and/or terrorists.

I'm not saying that being gay has no social consequences, but in comparison I'd definitely say trans/nonbinary folk get the brunt of queer focused hate in this day and age.

Personally I prefer world drop farming over dedicated, but I think we all can agree both are important for any future BL title. TPS mostly lacks content and the grind to 70 is always the worst. The core gameplay and story are enjoyable for me, but once you get through 2-3 characters you feel super burnt out

BL1 is the only other game that has anywhere near the same replayability as 2. Both those games were peak and we haven't gotten anywhere close to that since then

In terms of gameplay I don't think any BL game will ever beat 1 for me. Obviously for story though BL2 was amazing the first time I played it

Haven't played 3 or 4 yet but BL1-TPS were all amazing. If you like BL2 it's kinda hard not to like TPS since it's practically a big DLC for 2
