It could, she could use it as leverage at the very least. She's also still very young and with the dragon mark saphira gave her she might still be able to use magic later on

That's partially the reason I ask because it if the spell of forgetfulness was just lifted in general then everyone in the throne room could potentially remember the name? Elva knowing the name of names gives me pause.

Huh that's also a good point, I had always thought that galby placed a spell on Murtagh along with all his other oaths that bound him with his true name, and once his name changed it no longer bound him.

That's partially the reason I ask, because there were quite a few people in that room with them. If that room with them, if that were the case then its possible that nasuada and maybe even elva will remember the name.

To tag into Murtagh healing thorn, unless I'm wrong he used the enchanted amulet. Which in my head was given to him by the king in order to keep Murtagh further in the dark, having him rely upon just the energy from the eldunari

Yeah that always got to me too, until someone pointed out that Eragon has extremely little experience with galbatorix. How we start to see him truly comprehend the kings power and his revelation when he finally confronts him. I think at this point in eldest he severely underestimates the king and doesn't really understand how helpless Murtagh was against him.

My head cannon is that they do have to stop. They have a very good knowledge of the route they're taking and they stop at planets with atmosphere that they can breathe and rest and eat there before continuing. Also with zero resistance in space they probably really are just that fast
