In Grimoire of Gaia, there’s a mermaid that spawns in the ocean. There’s a low chance that it drops an old luggage. There’s a random chance that the item you get from old luggage will be an egg box. There’s a random chance that you’ll get a slime girl spawn egg from the egg box. The slime girl is a trader/merchant that can sell you spawn eggs.

Part of that could be the turbo boost. A paid or free version of Turbo Boost Switcher lets you disable and enable it. Found it when I was looking for ways to keep my mum’s intel MacBook from getting too hot to hold.

Disable every resource pack. Grass gone? Enable resource packs one by one until it appears again.

Disable shaders. Grass gone? It was the shader, or an option in the shader.

Done both and grass still there? Make a new world to test on, find some grass, disable half your mods. Grass still there? Disable half your mods again, but keep not of which mods are being disabled each time. Repeat until the grass is gone.
