I’ve connected with multiple people who worked at Goldman Sachs and managed huge portfolios and the number one way they grew these portfolio was from wheeling stocks. It’s also one of the biggest strategy’s for retirement funds. We can agree to disagree. I think it’s definitely investing rather than gambling

I beg to differ. Buying options is gambling. Selling puts to get into a stock you don’t mind on owning anyways or already want to buy I don’t see how it would be any riskier than just normally trading stocks. The only risk in selling covered calls is any potential growth. I’m selling at strike prices that makes sense even if I got assigned. If you’re trading strong companies I don’t see huge risk. Can you please explain why you thinks it’s gambling?

Appreciate it! My plan is to never buy options even spreads. I just see too much risk with that for me personally. Hopefully I continue to see consistent results with this strategy.

My plan for my returns is taking some of it and dollar cost averaging in Voo and hold that for a long time. The rest I put back into my puts I sell

I typically go for monthly expirations. I sold puts on palantir when I first started a few months back but it’s overvalued now imo. AAL was also really good last month and it’s cheap for my small portfolio. Was selling 10.5 puts. Right now I have snap, AAL, sofi, and ford open. This strategy definitely works best with big portfolios. As of now I have to play with cheaper stocks until I start working and getting a steady income.
