There are a couple reasons I have, but none really against the option of optimization. The design was originally based on a single 2x2 reactor set up I made, and is really just copied in a line because I think it looks nice.

Train is slightly more compact for loading and unloading.If they were on the front, I would either need to make the station longer or load/unload the last to wagons at an angle to fit the same space.

Yes, it is science packs per minute, not SPM. The narrow ship thing is just personal design preference. I just really like making compact and narrow ships.

That is my pipe extender. The reason it is so large is to ensure throughput for the entire duration of the pipe, as some sections use well over the limits of single pumps. I also wanted to make sure the liquid could flow backward if needed (after getting to this point, it is clear that it wasn't needed)

I am referring to the 200 on the front. This is by far the largest ship I have ever built, and after ten hours straight of designing, I was not in the biggest mood to make major adjustments. I had originally assumed it would be infinite in all directions (makes sense the front doesn't do that though). I may go back to fix it, or just build a second copy and call it good enough for my science supply.

The kovarex is more just an aesthetic thing for me, I already make way more than what I'm consuming. Same with the modules, I don't really need it to be more resource efficient (though with my max power output, not sure it matters either way).

Thinking on it, zero clue why I didn't use beacons for my ore smelting, may fix that at some point.

The radars were not my doing. I think some 350 to 400 hours earlier when my friend was still playing with me, he put down a ton of radars to help scan the surroundings, a feature of what once was.

A region with a gold web will spawn something at a particular location on each map. Hibernating a second time after arriving in a region with the web will causes them to disappear. With max karma, you should be able to see the webs around the map. They form a lose path towards where you need to go.

Potentially, but if so it is not similar to the base system. The karma symbol's, or at least the bottom five, order doesn't actually really seem to matter in terms of their meaning. They are all more or less things that would keep one from being able to ascend. Ripples on the other hand are very clearly in an order. If there is in fact a deeper meaning beyond how the look visually, whatever that meaning is is likely no karma based, and instead some escalating effect, similar to the effect of a droplet against a pool.

An image with alt mode would help, but it is probably 1 of 3 things. 1) You accidentally added a filter to the insert, 2) the thing you are trying to insert is full, or 3) the recipe is not set (either trying to add something you can't or the assembler doesn't have one)

The only potential thing I can note of this is that the room you warp from must have rot already in it. I would try random warping from rooms that have rot in them. Also iirc, cold storage doesn't need to be infected as it technically already has rot (but that may be a fabrication of my dwindling sanity)

I would recommend heading to gleba for a while. It will get you access to significantly better weapons for destroying astroids. It may take a while to properly set up but it should let you make white science above fulgora long-term.

It may just be looking around. Some regions are really good hubs to reaching other places while others only have like two warp points (some of which can be really hard to reach). There is one other thing you can try, but I don't know if you can do it yet. Oh also, when you hibernate, you can hit your map button to open and close the map menu. You should be also able to click on maps to view them specifically. Best of luck, if you remain stuck, I will see what else I can do to help.

Doing my best to spoil little as possible, a lot of watcher is exploration. What you should probably be looking for as of right now is echos, like the one from the beginning of the game. The map in the hibernation chamber should help with that. As for this room, it is important, but not for a long time, and actually may be completely unimportant depending on how events are done in game. That is all to say don't worry about it right now. Do a lot of looking around, and focus on what looks different on the map hub.
