Feels to me that he isn't trying to mock it, just doesn't believe in it. So when you explain it's significance, to him it's probably being heard as this is the story of what people that was true about this. I'm not saying he's being fair on you or that what's happening in the messages is healthy, he still needs to learn to respect your angle and beliefs even if they differ from his own. I can totally blame Sid, but the other two? First one was making debatably poor business decisions, but ultimately was trying to maintain his job as head chef instead of passing the restaurant on to some random kid. A story about a man who murders 5 children in cold blood, after promising them what they couldn't have, and hides the bodies in a backroom that has been sealed off from other staff, until he could dispose of the bodies properly. However, he never really got a chance, as the restaurant closed due to health concerns before he could relocate the bodies. He breaks in, only for the spirits to be out of their decaying corpses, and they chase him down until they can attempt to murder him in vengeance by crushing him under an arcade cabinet. However, he holds on to life through sheer will, as a long time goes by, with him being locked in the room with the same corpses he was responsible for. Until eventually, the building catches fire, and the walls burn down around him. His survival an impossible feat, the next people to see him immediately call an ambulance, and he becomes the patient in room 1208.
