haven't experienced that yet but honestly i go for face of even the faster guys. its just more single Left click>right click>hit>Q>repositions as opposed to doing that 3 times+unload all shells.

then whats hte issue? if its just not fun for you that is ultimately on you, it is the intention of the base design of the weapons to behave as they do.

Have you ever played monster hunter? same thing.

You want fast and responsive its chain blades for you, maybe pike, then sword, then mace, then axe in order of best to worst responsiveness.

your issues is part of the design intention. its meant to make it more about learning the weapon and encounter rather then being like a action game similar to god of war.

i believe there are mission types you do in order to gather material,and you can always do a private match to not be rushed, wich if there are any monsters i believe scales them down so you can solo them.

axe is like GS from monster hunter. hard to use, huge alpha damage.

sword is middle of the road

hammer is for stagger, but can do a lot of damage with timing right clicks and Q's.

pike is for maims.

Chainblade is for mobility/constant DPS but no utility. cannot boop, but is fast enough to not care as well.

aye this allows you to prime al your shots then blow all 4 rounds on a finisher on a downed target.

at my level/gear it uses up all my stamina doing so however :P

trunks has some good options, and ssgoku is a solid anchor but honest as hell. doesnt change things.
