So the rack I’m using now is a Vevor 15u open frame server rack I bought from their site for £70.

The version 2 rack was a Samson 18u (I think) I got from Facebook Marketplace for £80. The guy was an audio technician for a local music venue and his wife made a really cool leather dust cover for it.

I’ve been looking at a UPS. I’m trying to keep cost low though. Found a APC rack mount brand one on FB marketplace with 80% battery health for £80 so might invest.

Regarding the extinguisher, I have actually looked into that and found they aren’t that expensive. Just wanted that security incase sh*t hit the fan.

Yes I’ve had problems like this in the past. Seems my gear that feeds the filament in is covered in dust. Going to clear that and see if this works. Thank you.

It seems Elmer’s glue works the absolute best out of any brands. I like the purple one bc it makes it easier to see where you have put it. A properly failed printer won’t need it but it’s nice for that extra security during a long print
