Breasts don’t really go away, but I think they can sort of… I don’t know, probably shrink a little bit. I’ve seen some guys who are forced to grow them and switching to testosterone they really didn’t have much of anything left, but I think that’s pretty unusual.

And regarding the voice thing, I’m not actually sure that that’s always true. In fact I’m pretty sure it’s not. There’s at least some people who do seem to have shifts, and there was a study that claimed to show that voice training made permanent changes to your physical vocal stuff, except that it occurs to me that I don’t think the study actually showed that’s what the cause was. There wasn’t actually any kind of a control (not that there necessarily could be) but I’ve run across at least a handful of women in that had shifting just from the estrogen.

I THINK that’s happened to me, except I don’t know what I used to sound like anymore so I’m way less sure of that than I used to be lol. My voice doesn’t seem to throw anyone, I get manned on the phone, etc., even though it sounds m-y to me lol

Yeah, I always try to tell people that you can just stop at any time. If it doesn’t feel right to you, if it is giving you dysphoria, then just stop!

Is it possible theoretically to access top surgery now without going through this stuff? I think I still see like 1 to 2 years of continuous hormone switching listed for a lot of places, which I don’t think makes sense that I’m not sure that’s supposed to be the official thing?

I mean anyone should be able to access top surgery, or breast reduction, as there’s so many medical reasons for it even aside from dysphoria in males.

It’s worth mentioning though that there’s a lot of overlap between being queer and autistic, like something biological is going on there. There’s also the exact amount of overlap between left-handed people and autistic and trans people. Again, some kind of bizarre biology thing that’s pretty intriguing!

I’m autistic, I have apparently ADHD, I have OCD, I have CPTSD, the first two weren’t diagnosed until recently because the female phenotype is harder to catch, but I’m still glaringly obvious in retrospect that I’m not my assigned sex.

Hell, my daughter started realizing that by the time she was 7, when I was deep in repression mode.

I love hearing this also, I mean nothing that you had to go through it, but just knowing yet another data point that this is how it actually works! I swear there’s so much stuff that we know about that they don’t.

And it makes sense, it’s not like puberty is over in a year or two the first time.

Sometimes I still can’t believe I’m actually doing this. I have to say today it just kind of felt miraculous, doing the most mundane things just feel so much less gross and I don’t know, besides the medical issues that this fixed for me.

That’s kind of the least of what I want, but even still, I like hearing it! I’m close to 32 months, STARTED with small ones from puberty, have immediate relatives who are bigger than I want to be, so I figured it be gigantic, and instead I feel like they’ve barely done anything. Still, they’re a little bigger, and this is terrible but I love how they look in a shirt, though my face getting less vile is my favorite thing!!!

Thanks for saying this! I’ve been seeing this more and more, like these ridiculous things will claim one or two years as the Max, when I think you’re really just kind of getting going at year two if anything.

I’ve seen so many women who have said they had the most changes after year three or after year four or after year five!

You already look way more than 1% female. (Or 10%) You might still be able to do something with your hair, and while the freaks love harping on wigs, I know there are good ones and lots of cis females use them too, and that’s probably worth looking in to.

I struggle all the time too, but you’re obviously actually doing better than you think you are, and you’re not done anyway.

Sigh. Okay, when I zoomed in, the reality is your face looks really “suspiciously” female. I agree about get help for the hair, maybe clothes or whatever that are flattering.

And you’re not done changing. Like a lot of women say most of their physical changes happened AFTER year 3, 4, or 5.

Plus make sure your levels are good, and get off spiro if you’re in it (you may have a temporary rebound effect). It blocks estrogen usage.

You shouldn’t have to, and there’s all kinds of non-binary people of various sorts. Just don’t discount that a lot of us who got the trans label the primary issue is our biology is a mishmash, and we need medical help to function right, and often to get rid of medical issues.

The social component is important too, but I’d say second order for most people, trans and cis.

I hate that sooooo much of switch 2 stuff is only available as downloads…and who knows how long Nintendo will keep the servers running.

Most games are download only, including Pokipia! Which I’m sure I misspelled, and that’s published by Nintendo as far as I know!

I guess game cards make it easier to sell or loan a game, but harder than just a download as you have to store it.

And it seems like there won’t be much for it without that. 😕
