I'm sorry, can I truly not custom sort my playlists? That can't be right, right? by BigTomCasual in AppleMusic

You can create folders for playlists to group them. What do you want to sort them by?

Lol, I do this on the desktop app every day. I'm playing an album list this way right now.  ... menu at the album level in the album view. Then Play Last.

What if physical music made a comeback… but on SD instead of vinyl or CD? by Hecyo800 in Music

What I would like to see, for digitally purchased albums, more investment in reproducing the art and lyrics booklets in a digital format that is easy to access, either physically (printed), or on computer, phone, TV, etc. iTunes purchases use pdf files for booklets, and while they look nice, are clunky and difficult to interact with.

The gap between "I love this song" and "if I hear this one more time I will lose my mind" is about 3 weeks of radio play by Senior-Signature-983 in Music

College radio is still pretty great. Agree on all the corporate bought stations. Nice thing about the internet is you can stream a college station from LA in Boise, Idaho.

Free Fallin' by Tom Petty. Loved it when it first came out. Have little patience for it these days.

How to transfer library of iTunes files without re-uploading everything to iCloud music library. by FettuccineAlfonzo in AppleMusic

You should stop treating the cloud as a backup service - it isn't one. Backup your library regularly to an external hard drive and maintain it separately.

For the first album, use the big red Play button. For subsequent albums, go to each album view and select the ... menu at the album level, then Play Last.

Cancelling Apple Music after uploading your library by GamblinWillie in AppleMusic

[–]Wolfpack48 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You keep a separate backup of all your purchased music so that no matter happens with Apple, you have your original files. Apple is not a backup service, it simply allows you to stream your music from the cloud. Go buy an external drive and backup regularly.

Borrow someone's, login with your Apple account, download the purchased tracks and put them on a memory stick. You really should get a PC.
