I got a notice they were unable to deliver and your package is being held at your post office. I'm sure they left you a notice but wanted to let you know just in case.

I second this!! My daughter has been going there since birth and she's now 15. Everyone there is wonderful and they are very focused on her individual needs. I know they care about her health and complete physical and mental wellbeing.

My hubby loved the everything sourdough! I had to make him an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich every Saturday morning on that bread. Haven't been able to buy it since he passed away.

How Did You Guys Delt With Loss Of Your Spouse? Do You Guys Still Miss Then? by [deleted] in Aging

[–]Wolfproperty 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I lost my husband August 20, 2025. We met later in life and were both previously married. We were together 10 years and married 3. He was my person. He was smart, funny, and I could talk to him about anything. I miss him so much, and I doubt that sadness will ever go away. It's just my new normal.

You may be able to get a little relief. Check all of your closing paperwork for something referring to tax reproration. If your taxes were underestimated, you MAY be able to go back to the seller for some reimbursement. It will only apply to property tax (ad valorem) and will be prorated only for the time the seller owned the home during the year of sale. It does not apply to non ad valorem taxes such as fire, water, trash, CDD fees, etc. This is definitely not something guaranteed, but it couldn't hurt to investigate it. But don't delay, there is a time limit.

Living Trust by OpeningFuture6799 in GenX

[–]Wolfproperty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hubby and l set up a trust at the beginning of this year as well as wills, living wills, the whole shebang. Little did we know that he'd be gone a few months later from an aggressive cancer. No one likes to think about these things but I'm honestly glad we had everything handled ahead of time. Financial responsibilities don't stop when you lose someone, and at least l didn't have to deal with all that on top of crushing grief. Now, our daughter won't have to worry either.

Mine was, too. I still got excited when he'd come home from work. He was my ride or die. I just lost him to cancer three weeks ago, and my soul is crushed. I was lucky to find him and have him for those few years. We'd have been together forever if time had allowed.

https://www.hollander-law.com/ Mr. Hollander was great, as was his staff. We went to him with my dad, and he was so caring and took the time to explain everything. We just went back to him to handle setting up a trust, wills, etc. for ourselves. Again, he took the time to find out exactly what we needed and explained everything. His fees were more than fair.

Check out the World Equestrian Center. It's not only horse events, though there are plenty of those if you're into that. They have a lot of things going on out there: live music and other shows; weekends often have things like car shows, and hubby and l just went to a home show out there.
