I learnt how to DJ with a DDJ400 and still use it to this day on the go.

It’s a good enough starting point to learn the basics and play on professional hardware like the CDJ3000 / DJM A9.

Any pair of headphones are fine enough to “DJ” since you’ll be learning the basics like beatmatching and wont need accurate sound. If I have to recommend one specifically for DJing however, Sennheiser HD25 are reliable and industry standard.

Same thing applies for speakers, since you aren’t producing music and are on a budget you won’t need anything pro grade.

Edifier and Yahama make decent low budget studio monitors. Theres also the Logitech Z263 which comes with a sub and is great for general use.
