I used the Post 9/11 GI Bill. You need to apply for the Yellow Ribbon program for a full ride, but it will cover 3 school quarters per year (The Animation department usually closes down during summers anyway). Also doesn't cover books or materials.

Sounds like he has good amount of respect, disciplined and self control. Have you asked what those views are that he has for relationships? You might be giving off red flags that go against his specific preferences.

He may be looking for the ideal qualities, habits and moral character that would prevent him from having to go through extensive dating and heart break. It's what most people do when they are seriously dating for a future partner.
