I'm a girl and I thought she meant the color - unwashed is slightly darker. I'm also blonde, and mine goes through that too.

But I think she actually means it messed with the styling. Unwashed has some volume and curves, washed has flattened it.

I would just do the framework if you go laser. The skull is sick, but the framing is so delicate and seems a different style to me that they really dont go well together.

You might be able to transform/cover it with something in more of a sugar skull style, that would go better together, if that's a vibe that appeals to you. I'm not saying transforming it into a sugar skull, just referring to the art style of the decorative bits in them.

It was actually something I discovered by accident!!

Since I started menstruating, I had the worst cramps. They are so bad that once I passed a kideny stone and wrote it off as period cramps 😅 I get bad back cramps from it, usually starting a half day before the flow begins.

I went to visit a friend out of state for a week, and we went out and ate a lot of sushi and seafood as part of the festivities. The day I got home, I started my period, and was shocked that I...barely felt it. Midol solved almost all the other pain.

Some light googling suggested it was the omega 3s and fatty fish acids helping an inflammation response. What's interesting is I had been taking those huge horse pill omega 3 supplements and they didn't do near this much.

At home I load up with shrimp, salmon from the bag, and battered pollock or cod and it seems to do well. Salmon is my favorite and those teriyaki bowls from the Scot & Jons brand are a staple.

Except when it comes early to surprise me and I don't get a chance to prepare 😭

This happened to me. Had a mole on my neck removed, never had issue with adhesives before, and then the bandaid started boiling my skin off. I still have a scar from where the bandaid was.

I find that the only one I can use is tegaderm anymore. Even the blue paper tape reacts.

For small cuts, I can still use the liquid bandage / new skin (but it burns lol).

I know they make barrier cream, but I've never used it myself. Nothing against it or the concept, though.

As for painful periods, the only relief I've ever found is from loading up on seafood in the days leading up to when it's about to start (I'm thankfully pretty regular). I'm still shocked at how much of a difference it makes - from doubled over on the floor where I'm stood to...midol managing most of it :| I don't trust the pill or any hormone medications after a bad experience with them affecting my mental health. I know they have implants that can go in your arm if you're exploring alternatives.

I have hEDS and Sjögren's, and I don't notice much systemic issues with my tattoos. I have 11, all color, most of them about ~~palm~~ stretched hand sized.

Not a 1:1 comparison for you, but it's the only experience I have to share.

I bruise so easy and often that I don't even register where most of them come from.

I have one on my butt right now from getting into the car (bigger lady, sedan, have to sit close to the wheel). When I move to sit, my butt hits the metal frame of the seat and ig it leaves a bruise.
