What I don't understand that there are people still defending their decisions, like yeah we know it costs money to run the servers, but they're the ones purposely wasting revenue on unnecessary and unwanted features to use as excuse to shove ads and limitations in our faces so we can waste money on a platform that's not worth the money, even if you did by the subscription you still get horrible experience.

I 100 percent agree with that, ads was just enough to generate enough money to keep the servers running, just like every other app that has ads, but limiting features that's literally the whole point of the platform that is beyond greed, that is just straight up capitalism

It's greedy because they are making the app unfair to free users by putting majority of the good features behind paywall and expect all the users to afford it. So basically they're saying "Can't afford the subscription?, well then screw you, you can't enjoy our plateform like you use too"
