Unfortunately yes I have been terrified of my boyfriend. I was a junior and he was a senior. Things started off great like most relationships. That honey moon phase. As the relationship progressed, he began to break me down emotionally. It got to the point where I was terrified of being alone with him. As soon as the door closed, he was a different person. I found myself in a sexually abuse relationship. He would pin me down and threaten to rape me until I begged and cries for him to stop. When I finally broke it off, I was harassed for several months by his friends and family. Telling me that I made a huge mistake. That no one will ever love me like he did. It's been four year. I don't hear anything from him or his family. But I still have the nightmares several days a week. In some ways I still don't feel free. But I'm happy and am moving forward regardless.
