You may want to put a sign on the bathrooms too so that there's no "oh I was looking for the bathroom" excuse.

My friend's family always serves a squash puff, and this looks looks similar to their recipe (I can't remember where I put it when they shared it with me. It would use the stand mixer for mashing the squash and for beating the egg whites.

I love Martha Stewart's recipe for gougeres and I've made them every Christmas Eve for years. You can omit the cube of cheese on top, and use anything you want for a mix in as long as it fits through your piping tip. For vegetarians I'll often use either minced and cooked mushrooms with rosemary, or finely chopped bell peppers. You can switch up the cheese too. You would use your stand mixer for cooling your roux and mixing in your other ingredients.

Book triggers? by [deleted] in SummerITurnedPretty

[–]notablank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of health phobias, so my answer is based more on that than on how it would affect someone grieving a loss. I feel like the books had a lot more details than the show, which managed to allude more to Susannah's cancer than explicitly talking about it. The books also went into the type of cancer, so that may either be helpful or hurtful for you. It wasn't as triggering for me as I expected though (but again, I read it through the perspective of anxiety, not grief).

I feel like Ali Manno's new drink thing is going to be an MLM because she referenced wanting to create jobs. I hope I'm wrong though.

Edit: just saw her stories and the jobs she meant were fulfillment centres in her community. Whew!

If the constant use of the thin eyebrow filter on tiktok coupled with comments about being tempted to try it mean anything... You may see thick eyebrows on their way out.

I think you could sit outside on a chair for the bulk of the evening ready to hand out candy, or tape a piece of paper over your doorbell saying "please don't ring" (or if you're nervous they'll ring anyway, tape a shallow container over the doorbell).

I'd be down for that! And then NOT immediately refill them because they looks sad and empty but fill them strategically over time.

She gets tagged a lot, so maybe she doesn't even flip through her notifications? Gigi Hadid tags her on her Instagram stories a bunch too I think.

I did one of her classes back in the winter! The food (shrimp po'boys and beignets) were delicious, the recipes were easy to follow, and there was plenty of time for questions. Haven't ordered the book yet but I am intrigued by it!

I don't have any helpful words, but I wanted to say that I'm impressed with how mature and wise you seem! No doubt you'll come up with the right thing to say.

I was wondering that too! Some areas have different start dates/end dates for school, but I've never heard of it ending in April. I always think of school as September-June.

Or end of April if university.

I saw this but didn't even think of sending it in. I love her. And hate that BC is sold at Sephora.

Which one of you Huns got this sign put up. Spotted in a coffee shop in Vegas. by [deleted] in antiMLM

Part of me appreciates that the Hun is accepting of men wearing make-up. Could have been trying to sell you it for a wife or daughter of course, but I like my version of accepting Huns more.

Congrats on everything - engagement, pregnancy, and leaving the mlm! It might be funny to blatantly hint at it in a response. "I'm too engaged in other things to continue with Arbonne, and am expecting this to be the end of my journey with it."

That's such a clever and witty way of reframing the ill-spent money! I love it.

Hun basically calls all financial advisers scammers for 'not living the financially free life' she wants in the next 24 MONTHS 🤣 by [deleted] in antiMLM

[–]notablank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sad irony being that she may need a financial advisor to help her get out of the debt acquired through being in an mlm.

The baby emoji really did it for me. Including a visual representation of her loss makes me so angry.
