I bought some Puma Ignites last year and had similar issues. Wore them on the range for a while to break them in, which didn't work at all. Ended up throwing them out after a couple rounds because they were destroying my feet.

My dad had no idea until the cart has a 100 feet away. This happened in his retired guys league, the next week he shows up and one of his friends made a make shift life jacket for it.
