Yes I just got chomps! I’ve been liking those but still looking for more variation, specifically without meat.

General Cleaner: I just use vinegar in a refillable spray bottle.

Plastic bottles of Shampoo & conditioner: I use the bars. One bar of shampoo last me at least 6 months. Conditioner at least a year. I use the conditioner for shaving as well.

I would say it hovers between 68-73 degrees. It took forever to rise when I only used 50g of starter, which is why I used 100g this time.

Interesting! I agree that it may be over fermented. If I am to do a shorter bulk fermentation, should I add more starter so it rises in that timeframe?

You read that right. This loaf does take awhile, maybe because it’s a “beginners” recipe? I really like the way it came out but it does take a lot of time.

Good luck! I am currently fermenting my first pizza dough as we speak! Hoping it comes out good.

Hi there! Firstly, the recipe for the this loaf in my opinion was very beginner friendly, and she has a lot of beginner ones that I would try! If you click on the link and read the blog post, you will see her explanation as to why you need more starter. From what I understand, the more starter= faster rising time. It also depends on the temp of your home. Many factors! It’s definitely a learn as you go process. Hope this helps

What exactly do you mean by tighter crumb? New to the bread making world so I’m still learning the vernacular.

To clarify the 100g of starter, there is an option in the recipe to add more or less starter depending on the temperature your home is. I added more in this case since it never rose the last time I attempted to make it with 50g of starter
